How do I place my order on Trails End? Go to www.trails-end.com. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Leaders." On the next page click on the top right corner where it says "popcorn system." Log in to the popcorn system using your username and password. At the top of the page click on the arrow next to "Orders" and select whether you are ordering for the September or December distribution.

When are the ordering deadlines? Orders MUST be submitted through the Trails End site by September 10 for the September distribution and by November 17 for the December distribution.

When can I pick up my popcorn? Depending on your district location, you may have different distribution dates. Product will be distributed from Thursday September 23 through Saturday September 25 and from Thursday December 2 through Saturday December 5. Specific times and locations will be distributed by your District Kernels at the district kickoffs

What time is product distribution? The main product distribution from the main warehouse will be on Saturday, September 25 and will start at 8:30 a.m. However, several districts have their own warehouse or they have arranged for an earlier distribution time on either Friday 9/24 or Thursday 9/23. You can check with your District Kernel or in the materials you received at the training for district specific information. The same will go for the Take Order distribution on December 4. The main distribution will be on December 4, starting at 8:30 am at the main warehouse. Some districts may have made other arrangements and you will receive emails from the council and from your District Kernel with your district's specific information

What if I have late orders after the ordering deadline? If you missed the deadline to place your order, we cannot guarantee you will have any of the product you need. However, the council does order extra product for reserves that can be used to fill your order but again, product is not guaranteed. Contact your District Kernel or the council ASAP if you missed the deadline for product orders.

How many containers in each case? The three most expensive items, Chocolate Lovers Tin, 3-Way Tin, and Cheese Lovers Tin come 1 item per case. Microwave Popcorn will come 6 boxes per case. Every other item will come 8 containers to a case.

Enter in how many of each prize level you would like and be sure to submit the order to council.

How do I register for the $2,500 scholarship? The $2,500 scholarship form can be found on the council popcorn website at www.skcbsa.org. Click on "Popcorn Sale" toward the bottom of the page and you can print out this form and submit it to the council for approval with copies of your sales forms. Once the form is signed by the council sales manager, it will be returned to you to submit to trails end.

How do I register for the $1,500 gift cards? $1,500 gift cards can be ordered with the regular prize order via the trails end website.

How do I register for the $600 marshmallow crossbow? The $600 Marshmallow Crossbow can be ordered with all of the other unit prizes via the Trails End Popcorn System. Log in to the Popcorn System, choose "Orders" at the top of the screen and then choose "Unit Prize Order" to order prizes for your Scouts.

How do I get a statement for my scholarship account? Scholarship account statements are usually mailed out over the summer from trails end to each member of the scholarship program. If you have any questions you can contact trails end directly at scholarship@trails-end.com

How will top ten sellers be determined? The top ten sellers for the council will be determined from the submitted $2,500 scholarship forms.

If you are returning to the sale, your username is the same as last year. You will receive a username and password email from Trails End in August.

My invoice does not show the correct contact information, how do I change that? You can change the contact information on your invoice by logging into trails end. Go to www.trails-end.com. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Leaders." On the next page click on the top right corner where it says "popcorn system." Log in to the popcorn system using your username and password. Click on "Users." You will see a list of users for your unit. Click on your unit name and number. You can edit the primary contact information by clicking on "edit troop __" and then choosing the correct primary contact from the drop down menu.

How do I track my sales in the trails end system? The trails end system can show you what your orders are for both the Show and Sell and the Take Order sale by logging in and clicking on the tab for "Orders" and choosing either Show and Sell or Take Order. It is not reccomended that you use the trails end website to track the sales of individual Scouts. It is reccomended that you use a simple excel document to track the sales of your Scouts and one can be provided to you from the council.

When is the ordering deadline? The deadline for ordering product for the Show and Sell portion of the sale is Friday, September 10. The deadline for ordering product to fill your Take Orders is Wednesday, November 17.

When can I pick up popcorn? Popcorn will be distributed to units via warehouses throughout the council. Districts that are outside of Columbus may have their own regional warehouse where the product will be distributed from. Units within the Columbus area will pick up their product from the main warehouse. You can see the addresses of the popcorn warehouses on the main Popcorn Page of the council website.

What is my unit's commission from the sale? Units will receive 32% commission for all sales in 2010.

How do I find out what my total due to council is (invoice)? To view your updated invoice; Go to www.trails-end.com. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Leaders." On the next page click on the top right corner where it says "popcorn system." Log in to the popcorn system using your username and password. Click on the arrow next to "Reports" and scroll down to highlight "Unit Invoice." This report is updated in real time.

Who do I make my payment check out to? Payment checks are to be made out to Simon Kenton Council.

When is payment due? Payment for Show and Deliver popcorn is due on the return day, Saturday November 13. Payment for Take Order popcorn is due by Monday, December 20.

How will you know what is due at the return day?? At the return day facilities, we will have your original order information. We will take into account everything you have returned and subtract that from what you owe. You will then be asked to pay for everything that was not returned and therefore sold.

What product am I expected to pay for and by when? You are expected to pay for product sold via "Show and Sell" on the final return day, November 13. You are expected to pay for all product sold via "Take Order" by December 20.

How do Scouts register for online sales? Scouts can register to sell online by visting www.trails-end.com and clicking on "Scouts" at the bottom of the page. In the top right hand corner click on "Sign In" or "Create an Account" and they can register.

How do I track online sales? Go to www.trails-end.com and click on "Leaders" at the bottom of the page. In the left hand column click on "view online sales." From there you will be asked to log in and you can view each of your Scouts who have created accounts to sell online.

How will I receive commission for online sales? The council receives monthly statements that reflect your unit's internet sales. Each month, a credit for your commission earned via internet sales will be credited on your invoice. You can view an updated unit invoice under the "Reports" tab of the trails end website.
